1. PROFESSIONAL DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY - PRACTICAL WORK
Duration: 9 weeks
Days & Timings: Wednesdays from 5 to 7 PM
Course outline:
This 9-week course teaches you the History and basics of Photography. You will learn about cameras and lenses, exposure in relation to time and light, as well as how to photograph for fashion, glamour, photojournalism, documentary. You will also be initiated to videography with DSLR, and learn photo editing and the basics of Adobe Photoshop.
At the end of 9 weeks, students display their work in an exhibition at the Alliance Française de Karachi art gallery.

2. PROFESSIONAL DIPLOMA IN PHOTOGRAPHY
Duration: 6 months
Days & Timings: Saturdays from 3 to 6 PM & Sundays from 10 AM to 1 PM
Course outline:
This internationally-recognized, intensive 6-month diploma program covers the basics of photography and its history. You will learn to photograph for the fashion figure work, weddings, events, glamour &boudoir, sports portraiture, product advertising, black and white art photography, videography with DSLR, documentary, and photojournalism. In addition, you will learn photo editing and the basics of Adobe Photoshop. At the end of 6 months, students earn a diploma and display their work in an exhibition at the Alliance Française de Karachi art gallery.

3. BLACK & WHITE PHOTOGRAPHY & DARKROOM TECHNIQUES
Duration: 9 weeks
Days & Timings: Fridays from 4 to 7 PM
Course outline:
This 9-week course will teach you the craft of traditional black & white darkroom techniques. Explore the endless creative possibilities of alternative darkroom work and its potential in contemporary art. The course will cover basic history and theory of the darkroom manipulation process, the black and white film with push processing, pull processing and cross processing, Sepia, blue, copper, green, gold, red and gold tuning, and include demonstrations and practical skills to give you a working knowledge of darkroom techniques and processes. Participants must have basic knowledge of photography and have access to an SLR film camera. The costs of printing paper and film are not included in the course fees.

4. MEDIA ICON DIPLOMA IN TV PRODUCTION & DOCUMENTARY
Duration: 12 weeks
Days & Timings: Thursdays and Fridays from 5 to 8 PM
Course outline:
This 12-week course with a total of 108 teaching hours will take you through TV production, photography, documentary-making, film critique and production, character and visual story, proposal budged and fundraising, preparing the long haul, planning for effective interviews. You will also learn about sound consideration, natural and portable lights, art of cinematography, printing and publishing as well as music and documentary,

5. PROFESSIONAL JOURNALISM - PRACTICAL WORK
Duration: 9 weeks
Days & Timings: Tuesdays from 5 to 7 PM
Course outline:
This is a foundation course for practitioners in the field to become a photojournalist. It treats all the fundamental principles of writing and reporting in pictures for the mass media. This course will provide you with the necessary information about the contents, process and materials with which to real and understand the subject matter of the course. The teacher will give you guidance on the assignments and also specify the amount of time you are required to spend on each of them.

6. PHOTOSHOP & LIGHTROOM
Duration: 6 weeks
Days & Timings: Tuesdays from 5 to 7 PM
Course outline:
Create a professional pomposite for advertisement, Retouching techniques, realistic shadows and lighting effects, advanced color correction and create a depth-of-field effect. Bonus tips and tricks.
Prerequisites: You will need to bring your laptoip (with a mouse) and Photoshop already installed. You will also need to bring your camera.
